Mission of Blackhawk Network’s is to be a market leader in Issuing/Processing Services which provide a highly scalable and feature rich complete end-to-end solution for partner to offer and/or issue/process payment products. The foundation of this service/product offering brings innovation, value creation, and profitability for Blackhawk’s Partners for both existing and emerging payment utilities.


We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to manage our payment application platform from conception to launch. In this role, you will collaborate with internal experts and clients to produce intelligent and insightful products and create holistic solutions. In additition, you will also build, develop and manage the product roadmap for service and features in partnership with technical program managers and engineers. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of our newest Center of Excellence in our new global site, Bengaluru, India. 


What will do you do in this new role?

Improve customer experience flow while iterating features with better UX designs.

Write detailed business, functional requirements and specifications and work closely with the development team to design and build the correct solutions -
carry out functional testing of developed solutions.

Provide professional expertise and product knowledge to internal groups (Sales,Professional Services, Customer Service, Training and Documentation),
customers and partners.

Lead communication throughout the development process across a mix of internal as well as client facing teams, ensuring that products satisfy customers’ needs and are highly adopted

Own the launch and release plans, collaborating with Account Managers,Internal Business Stakeholders, Marketing, and Sales to ensure proper prioritization of product features of platform

Leverage deep understanding of competitive landscape to identify distinctive advantages and apply them in our solutions.

Lead through influence rather than authority. Proven ability to motivate, lead, and collaborate with cross-functional product development teams and manage interactions across product areas.



  • 5+ years of technical product management experience and a strong passion to build great products and increase customer delight.
  • Experience in managing end to end product launches.
    Expert in writing Specs / Use case flows and stakeholder management
  • Positive attitude, and a collaborative approach towards problem solving.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities
  • Demonstrated success defining and shipping products in an iterative manner, with a hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution
  • Experience transforming product strategy into well-articulated business requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to
    inform product direction and prioritization. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as functional / technical deep dives. 

Great to have 

  • Understanding of the Gift Cards & Payments space, ecommerce Agile tools like Jira, RallyWorking knowledge of the e-commerce products, API based solutions e 
    Experience building enterprise platforms driving internal efficiency and consumer delight 
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, and event-driven architecture a plus.
    Usage of Scrum/Agile methodologies.
