    Overview:

    We are looking for a Senior Customer Renewal Manager to join our team in Toronto!  As a Customer Renewal Manager, you will be responsible for customer retention across a portfolio of accounts.

    We believe that our success is directly tied to the value our customers derive from our product. The renewal serves as an incredibly important milestone to celebrate and reflect on the past while also engage in planning for the future.  Achievers is searching for a customer-centric Customer Renewal Manager who will lead this key phase of the customer life cycle, both externally with customers, and internally in scaling our renewal strategy and operations.  As a Customer Renewal Manager, you will partner closely with multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., Account Executives, Customer Success Managers) to ensure that value is realized, and that the customers are set up to continue their journey for many years to come.  If you are passionate about the customer experience, have a knack for sales and a high level of comfort with technology, then you’ll fit right in!

    Responsibilities:

    • Own, drive, and lead the renewal process in collaboration with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to preserve and/or improve customer contracts and relationships
    • Actively engage with key decision makers to identify requirements and uncover roadblocks to ensure on-time commitments
    • Be a diligent champion for the renewal process ensuring that key steps are followed in a timely manner to ensure the renewal stays on track
    • Maintain and report an accurate forecast of renewals within your assigned portfolio
    • Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies, escalating wherever appropriate
    • Act as a voice from the field to relay feedback that drives continuous improvement across all areas of the business
    • Establish renewal best practices and provide training & enablement to the CS team to improve the customer experience

    Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of quota carrying experience (account management, renewals, enterprise sales) preferably at a software/SAAS company
    • Strong business acumen and proven ability to influence decision makers in various sizes of organizations
    • Demonstrated ability to discover, negotiate, and close enterprise transactions
    • Proficiency with CRMs such as Salesforce or other force.com platforms, especially around managing a sales pipeline
    • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations targeted to a senior audience
    • Ability to design and deploy process improvements to drive efficiency across the sales / renewal life cycle
    • Creativity and a desire to innovate new ways of keeping enterprise customers engaged through multiple long-term renewals
    • Bachelor’s Degree
